We made it to Georgia!

Hello!!! Yes we did make it. Lots of turbulance on the plane coming over. Of course we left Phoenix on a stormy day. And it was stormy all across the lower part of the U.S. I swore to never fly again after that. I don't think driving 36+ hours is such a bad Idea anymore. :o)

The day went smooth. No craziness. We planned on 3 hours at the airport so we didn't feel stressed. It went really well. We maxed out our 10 bags allowed checked and 10 cary on's. We were loaded. We had 2 hours left when we got to the terminal. So we watched a movie on the lap top and ate lunch. It was nice. We also got to board first because of the kids. That was a great releif to get settled before everyone else came on the plane. The kids were terrified on the plane with all the turbulance. Tyler called it the "Tower of Terror" plane ride. It was mainly when we took off because of the storm in Phoenix. Of course we had to leave on a stormy day. It was stormy all accross the U.S where we flew.

We have had lots of fun shopping for stuff. Although I feel like I am starting all over since we don't have anything accept our clothes. We are going to have alot of doubble when we move into a house and have our stuff shipped here.

I got rearended on Tuesday and then the truck took off. I was sitting at a stop light waiting to turn right. I had been sitting there stopped for atleast 30 seconds when the truck hit me. He hit me hard. I bent the bumper and put a hole in it. I felt my lower back pop. I wasn't able to see the licens plate. So the person got away with it. My back has been hurting since. I woke up at 3:45am Friday morning in seirous pain. I couldn't hardly breeth. It felt like I was being jabbed with a kinfe in my back and ribs and chest. Im hoping it is mainly because of the hotel mattress. Even though it isn't that bad. I just need to find a good chiropractor here.

We bought AWESOME mattresses for our apartment. I'm excited to have a comfy mattress to sleep on. We move in to our apartment tomorrow. Saturday, May 31st. I'm excited to have a little more space. Well, I better run. Lots to do. I will post pictures soon.

Yeah! I'm so glad you guys made it ok. Sorry the plane ride was scary, I'm certainly not envious of that. And that's horrible about the hit and run!! I'm so bugged on your behalf. I hope your back is feeling better soon. I can't believe you live all the way in Georgia now, as if Arizona wasn't bad enough! Best of luck getting all settled in! Lots of love to you!

So glad to hear you guys made it safely! Hey, you'll have to see if there are any Rupps in your ward. I have friends that live in Alpharetta...it might be a long shot. I don't know how big it is. Good luck getting set up!
