Visit to AZ

I loved my two week visit to AZ! It was so great to see friends and family again. (I missed a whole list of people too :o( Like my sweet dear friend Chrissy, Heather, Nicole, Annelise, and Tim's sisters Deann and Lynette and a bunch of others. Sorry! Please don't be offended if I didn't get to see you. I will be sure to see you next trip in May/June) I got to go to lunch with some dear friends from Queen Creek, some scrap booking friends from years past and hang out with a couple dear friends from Jr. High School. I got to go get pedicures with my sister and her daughter and friend. Ahhh that was relaxing. I got to go to a cousin's baptism and see lots of the King cousins. I got to hang out with Tim's family and visit with Great Grandma Palmer. She is recovering well. And best of all...I got to see my sweet nephew Jordan Jones marry the sweetest girl, Sarah Lusk. I even got to see some old friends because they are friends with Sarah's family. When your family marries within mesa, you are bound to know somebody! I loved being in Arizona and enjoyed the warmer weather (some days it was a little too warm) while it snowed in Georgia.

Which I am sad I missed. It was a great Trip! I loved the familiarities of Arizona but missed the beautiful scenery and my family in Georgia. I miss AZ but I will also miss things about GA when it comes time to move back to AZ. I have learned that the the Grass is NOT greener on the other side. You have to enjoy and learn to love being where you are at the time.

Ignore the dates on the photos...I borrowed my mom's camera b-cuz my battery died and she had the wrong date on her camera. They got married on the 27th.

I know what you're talking about here. I grew up in AZ, (went to Jr. High/High School with Tim), but haven't lived there since 2001. I recently got to go back for my brother's wedding. When I arrived, I felt like I was HOME. I loved being there and seeing everyone we've known for pretty much my entire life. In the end, though, coming back to Seattle, (where we've lived for 3 months now), was more home than anywhere else because this is where my husband and kids are. This is where my life is now. And, when the time comes to move, I'm sure the same thing will happen again.
