Monday Night FHE 11/3/08

I can't beleive we are in NOVEMBER!!!! That is just crazy!!! Monday night we got together with the Petersons for FHE. At the last minuet we decided to take our 6 kids to the Town Hall meeting where they were reading the Family Proclimation. I have to admit, I was nervous about going with our kids. But, it turned out fine. We weren't the only ones with kids. It was a neat expirience. They had all the families come up to the front and we got a picture with them reading it and presenting it to a bishpric member in the Web Bridge ward. The Petersons and Whites are in the Web Bridge ward, which is in our stake. I hope they e-mail me a copy of that picture. That will be neat. I will post it if I get it.

It's a bummer we got cut out of the picture... We were on the far right next to the Petersons. Tyler is on the very edge of the picture next to Zack. He is the only one in the family that didn't get cut out. That's ok. Oh wait...I just realized that Katrina is in it too. She is in front of Monika next to parker in the Pink Jacket. YAY! Two got in the picture....

Broken Guitar String - 11/2/08

Tim has been enjoying playing his guitar lately. And the kids love hearing it. Sunday Tim was playing his guitar and one of his strings broke. So he let it hang down and continued playing. After a little while Tim says "Shay, you have to come see this". I come in and see Katrina stringing raisins onto that broken guitar string. She didn't even pay any attention to us looking at her, she was so focused on stringing those raisins up. By the time I got the camera she had caught on to what was going on. She continued until the whole box of raisins was on that guitar string.

Halloween - 10/31/08

I'm behind...Friday was Halloween and I am just getting pictures up today.

We went out to Calhoun's (friends) house for Halloween. We had dinner and then the kids went Trick-or-Treating around their neighborhood. It was COLD! But we had fun. The girls decided to dress up 80's. We looked so hideous! All of our husbands at different times told us that they haven't ever seen us look so un-attractive as we did that night. Tim says he never liked the 80's styles. And I wasn't totally 80's. I didn't have time to go to the store. So I did what I could with what I had. Anyway, Tim and Tyler were still Indiana Jones and Kenna switched to Belle and Katrina was Cinderella. We got so loaded with candy I don't ever want to see a piece of Chocolate again! Well, until I recover..... I was sick on Saturday. Here are our pictures....

Tim was so tired when we got home, he got to our room and only got one shoe un-tied before he crashed!....
